American cosmetic brand Bobbi Brown announced its Confident Beauty Campaign, its latest. Aimed to celebrate “multi-dimensional” women and individual beauty, it appointed American actresses Yara Shahidi, Elizabeth Olsen and Chinese actress NiNi as its new global celebrity spokeswomen.

Known for its commitment to providing a perfect match for all skin tones since its inception in 1992 by famed makeup artist Bobbi Brown (who left the brand in 2017), the core essence of a woman defining beauty on her own terms remains its commitment to this day. “I think the brand represents what my generation represents: the importance of inclusion. The fact that it’s been so important for the brand in both makeup and philanthropic endeavours since the beginning speaks to the fact that it’s not a commercial trend but something it is committed to,” says Yara Shahidi, explaining her decision to come on board.

The campaign will feature Bobbi Brown’s longstanding foundation products — Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation and Intensive Skin Serum Foundation, with the former expanded by 12 new shades. In conjunction with its launch, Bobbi Brown also launched The Pretty Powerful Fund on International Women’s Day. Some US$400,000 will be donated to four charities selected by its ambassadors in support of empowering women and girls.
