In today’s fast-moving, ever-changing world, an object that is designed to last a lifetime is a rare thing of beauty. This is the very premise that Halcyon Days’ exquisite offerings are based upon, fusing generations of tradition with superior artistry. With the opening of its boutique in Pavilion KL, the carefully crafted creations of the British luxury goods retailer and heritage brand are now available here.

The charming, new boutique provides ample space to discover its signature jewellery line — birthed from the art of enamelling on copper carried out since the 1740s, alongside its equally iconic fine bone China — made exclusively for the brand in the heart of pottery industry in Stoke-on-Trent. Everything is made in London, save for the scarves that are made in Italy, and adhere to the highest standards of quality.

The heritage brand also makes watches, which go hand-in-hand with its signature bangles

Describing the brand during the media launch, managing director Soo Shea Pin said, “Halcyon Days is a hidden gem and isn’t that what luxury is about — an appreciation and discovery of the unknown?” It’s also a proud holder (one of only 14 worldwide) of all three royal warrants to the British Royal Household.

Halcyon Days was established in Mayfair, London in 1950 as an emporium of antique gifts, specialising in 17th century enamelware, a reputation that it has upheld over the decades. Jewellery options include the oval-shaped Hinged Bangle and Maya Torque Bangle made of twisted brass, both decorated in enamel and finished in palladium or 18ct gold plating, as well as the cross-generational Friendship Bangle. For gentlemen, the selection of cufflinks range from enamel and sterling silver to hand-decorated.

Colourful bangles for every occasion

The pretty hues and delicate designs of the fine bone showcased at the boutique are hard to miss. The Shell Garden Floral Collection is a special one, inspired by the magnificent garden on the grounds of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth holiday home in Scotland’s north coast where The Queen spent sunny afternoons sitting with her corgis. Combining traditional designs with contemporary shapes, each of her favourite flowers are combined with a pastel colour to create timeless pieces, of which a percentage of sales will be donated to The Castle & Gardens of Mey Trust.

The array of beautiful products that are perfect for both gifting and adding to one’s personal collection, were clearly designed with the discerning customer in mind and in celebration of the happy times that ‘halcyon’ denotes.

The 65th Anniversary of the Coronation Musical Box is one of the brand's most iconic pieces

Halcyon Days is located on Level 2, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
