Tumi swings into action with debut golf collection

An extension of Tumi Sport, the new range delivers strength and hyper-functionality.

It makes sense for a golfer going places to put all her clubs in one bag. If she values luxury and durability alongside performance as essential for a good game, then Tumi Sport’s new golf collection has what she will need on and off the course.

Available in black and off-white/tan, it offers the golf cart bag, stand bag, range bag, hardside two-wheeled travel case as well as duffels, totes and club covers. Monogram a name on a select item and it becomes a truly personal travel companion.

The golf bags are made from ballistic nylon. Tumi was the first company to incorporate this material, used in the flak jackets of WWII airmen to protect against debris caused by bullet and artillery shell impact, into its luggage in the mid-1980s.

The cart bag fits up to 14 clubs with room to spare and has pockets for gear, drinks and valuables and protective rain cover, while the stand bag has removable padded backpack straps for
one-shoulder or dual-shoulder carry. Both are equipped with USB-C charging capabilities.

Tumi’s travel case can accommodate the cart or stand bag, with space for apparel or accessories. Its polycarbonate shell absorbs impact while the top and side grip handles make it easy to handle on the road. The duffel converts into a backpack, and the three-pack cover set is designed to fit a driver, wood and hybrid club.

“We wanted to ensure all the details and qualities that draw people to Tumi are encompassed in a golf collection that is as durable and functional as any of our travel pieces, without sacrificing the luxury that is emblematic of the sport,” says Victor Sanz, the brand’s global creative director.
