Although it is what we hope for when we pack our bags for a getaway, our holidays do not always give us the mental clarity and calmness we seek. To that end, Banyan Tree Group and Singapore-based mental health solutions provider Intellect have come together in a unique initiative that addresses mental well-being through a digital app platform available to guests who book the Wellbeing Sanctuary at the Banyan Tree Bintan.

Upon arrival, guests are offered a personal well-being assessment and an orientation on their journey. They may then personalise their experience from a recommended two-day itinerary comprising nature-based activities, interactive learning workshops, online learning paths and reflection journals.

By the end of their stay, guests can expect to have discovered new tools and knowledge to build mental resilience, and improve their overall state of mind. Online learning and practices from the Intellect app will be made available to guests throughout and after their stay, so they may continue their personal practice after returning home.

For a minimum two-night stay, the sanctuary offers accommodation for two at its Wellbeing Ocean Villa on the Rock, in-villa amenities such as yoga mats and singing bowls for private practice — nightly rest rituals.
