The Hide Hotel Flims offers everything a mountain adventurer needs

Picture-perfect Swiss village Flims will have a new accommodation option in December. Designed by Stylt Trampoli AB’s Erik Nissen Johansen — who has a passion for engaging design experiences that focus on storytelling — The Hide Hotel Flims offers everything a mountain adventurer needs, and then some. Located in the eastern region of the Swiss Alps, the 47-room property retains a village feel while catering for an international crowd seeking supreme powder, mountain biking and spectacular hiking conditions. Guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to indoor activities as well, with options such as a four-room boutique cinema, world-class shopping experiences and a 1,000 sq m spa.

This Design Hotels property takes pride in its warm and generous approach to hospitality. A living room lobby, outfitted with a fireplace, lounge, bar, and cozy nooks, allows guests to consult with on excursions. A mountain concierge is on hand to facilitate any equipment rentals or activity planning. Younger mountaineers are sufficiently catered for with a 2,000 sq m Kindercity that boasts chocolate and bread workshops, exhibitions, a dinosaur workshop, a robotics lab, a driving school and professional childcare.

Once completed, The Hide Hotel Flims will be a hidden gem among the crystal geode stones that make that corner of the Swiss Alps a Unesco World Heritage site. Guests can look forward to a winter wonderland featuring 235km of pistes as well as summer attractions in the form of crystal clear lakes and the Swiss Grand Canyon.
