Genting Highlands and Johor Premium Outlets reopen with sale up to 80%

Some luxury brands underwent facelifts to serve customers better.

The onset of the pandemic caused an upheaval in retail, fundamentally changing the ways and places we shop. Although a slew of malls were battered by a national lockdown that forced to Malaysians stay home, a silver lining is on the horizon as interstate travel is encouraging shops to reopen again.

From today until October 24, Genting Highlands Premium Outlets and Johor Premium Outlets are running a “Welcome Back” sale with up to 80% savings.

In addition to great discounts, consumers will be delighted with new stores gracing both Premium Outlets. Ball Watch — the Swiss watch company based in La Chaux-de-Fonds — will be introducing its signature self-powered micro gas light technology through its timepieces; while Italian stalwart Salvatore Ferragamo welcomes returning shoppers after a boutique facelift. Cosmetic giant Sephora will be opening its doors to beauty mavens seeking the latest trends and variety.

Down south, your favourite luxury labels such as Balenciaga, Coleman, Fendi, Montbell and Valentino underwent store upgrades to provide a more pleasurable and personal consumer experience.

Both outlets have reopened with applicable Covid-19 standard operating procedures as all customers and store personnel will be subject to body temperature checks at the entrance. To ensure strict hygiene practices, hand sanitizer dispensers are also located throughout the Premium Outlets, food courts, information centers and entrance of restrooms.

Genting Highlands Premium Outlets opens from Monday to Thursday; 11am to 8pm; Fri to Sunday and public holidays; 11am to 10pm. Johor Premium Outlets opens daily from 11am to 8pm.
