Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur to debut in late 2026

The iconic brand’s launch in Malaysia will bring along its top-tier service and unparalleled luxury to the heart of the city.

Located in the Golden Triangle within walking distance of shopping landmarks such as Pavilion Mall and Suria KLCC, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur is set to make its Malaysian debut in 2026, bringing with it unparalleled service and luxury. Owned and developed by Tradewinds Corp Bhd, it will be managed by Hilton. 

The 23-storey hotel will feature 272 suites with custom-designed interiors and furnishings, state-of-the-art amenities as well as over 4,250 sq m of event space. The pillarless Grand Ballroom is one of the city’s largest, suitable for a wide range of large-scale functions such as gala dinners and lavish weddings.

Avid travellers can also look forward to world-class culinary adventure through five distinctive restaurants, most notably Peacock Alley, the signature lounge and bar synonymous with the hospitality brand. 

This Malaysian outpost joins an existing portfolio of 12 operating and nine pipeline hotels and resorts across the country, as well as 14 Waldorf Astoria establishments currently open or under development in Asia Pacific. It is also a continuation of the group’s entry into popular destinations such as Sydney, Tokyo, Osaka and Jakarta.
