Established 25 years ago by the Valiram retail group,  Swiss Watch was recently conferred with a Royal Warrant by HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor. The Royal Warrant appointing the company as Purveyor of Fine Watches to the Sultan of Selangor testifies to Swiss Watch and Valiram’s successful journey in the region, and represents a defining chapter in its legacy. The recognition could also not have come at a better time, as Swiss Watch marks its silver jubilee this year.

“Our team has been instrumental in shaping Swiss Watch into a leading watch retailer in the region. We would not have come this far without their continuous contributions,” says Datuk Ashvin Valiram, executive director of Valiram. “This recognition is a momentous milestone in our ongoing journey in celebrating fine watchmaking, and Swiss Watch is more committed than ever to creating exceptional experiences that celebrate the legacy of fine watchmaking.”

From the very first Swiss Watch boutique in Penang International Airport, starting out with an assortment of just 16 watch brands, it has since grown to become a veritable horological powerhouse in its own right, representing at least 30 distinguished maisons. Catering for both first-time watch buyers as well as seasoned collectors, Swiss Watch promises a compelling experience through the precious world of timekeeping.

At present, there are no less than 10 dedicated Swiss Watch boutiques and counting, as well as 30 specialist watch and jewellery stores across Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and Thailand. Meanwhile, Valiram operates more than 400 stores across the region, including in Macau, New Zealand, Indonesia and the Philippines. Its product portfolio spans fashion and accessories, perfume and cosmetics, sports, confectionery and F&B.
