A Papi & Grumpy Xmas Eve
Malaysian comedians Papi Zak and Kavin Jay are joining forces to bring you a show unlike any other. Come celebrate Christmas with the big boys of comedy as they share their hilarious stories and help you solve your Xmas problems alongside some fun surprises.

The Joke Factory, G3, Publika Shopping Gallery, Solaris Dutamas, KL. Dec 24, 8.30pm. RM40. Buy tickets here

Tarakucha Boom!
It is a merry way to end the year with homegrown big-band Tarakucha. Sean Ghazi and Ida Mariana headline four nights of feet-tapping, sing-along-encouraged performances to celebrate four years of Bobo KL, as well as to ring in the new decade. True to their style, there will be popular old-school pop and jazz classics, both in English and Malay (and possibly more). Make sure you book your seat in advance. There is also the option of a three-course meal at Bobo before the show.

Bobo KL, Jalan Bangkung, Taman Bandaraya, KL, Dec 27 to 31, 9.30pm. RM159, RM219 (for Dec 31). For more info, call 03 2092 5002.

(BE)LONGING
The exhibition features works from Chinese photographers Tami Xian and Peng XiangJe, who depict inhabitants of contemporary rural areas in China. Despite their different techniques, the two lensmen share a strong sensitivity to human suffering and dignity, capturing social bonds in their collection of images. Each picture conveys a feeling of nostalgia and, also, the sense of longing to belong that all their subjects have in common.

Valette Gallery, 14 Jalan Langgak Tunku, Taman Tunku, KL. Until Jan 15, 2020. For more info, see here.
