Leicester Square’s super boutique hotel, The Londoner, has unveiled The Jubilee Summer Series: a 30-day celebration to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee that embraces the very best of British luxury, heritage and culture. As all eyes turn to London for this unique and historic event, The Londoner will celebrate this momentous occasion with an inaugural series from May 16 to June 12 that will offer a programme of exclusive experiences in and around the hotel.

A highlight includes a special ticketed performance of the Queer Queen’s Cabaret, priced from £45 per person. Held at The Green Room, it will feature host and DJ Dolly Trolly, a burlesque performance by Kitty Bang Bang and comedy by Jen Ives.

A monarch with great taste deserves a musical line up to match

Beneath the historic square, an urban haven for holistic pampering befitting a queen awaits. The Retreat will welcome the new and exclusive Omorovicza’s Queen’s Jubilee Facial. The new skin ritual inspired by timeless textures and scents will provide a full 75 minutes of pure indulgence.

Post-cleansing and mild exfoliation, guests will experience a gold mask that will deeply hydrate and lift the skin, and an arm treatment and gentle lymphatic drainage massage. The Retreat’s very own Joe Vipond’s Grooming will celebrate All The Queen’s Men with £70 treatments to match the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

In honour of Her Majesty’s favourite things, The Londoner’s culinary team has put together flavourful experiences befitting a queen

As celebrations properly commence in London, Amir Jati, creative director of food and beverage at Edwardian Hotels London, will present a collection of culinary experiences enriched with royal flavour. Afternoon Tea at The Stage has added some regal touches to its ever-opulent offering.

Inspired by Her Majesty’s fondness for the classic chocolate biscuit cake, executive pastry chef Dale DeSimone has crafted an elegant tribute with the Sovereign’s Choice, a delicate combination of Valrhona chocolate and buttery British shortbread, decorated with a “platinum” shimmer. The Stage will also serve an exclusive cocktail — The Earl, a champagne blend using Buckingham Palace gin, Earl Grey tea, Dubonnet topped with Veuve Clicquot NV, and British clotted cream for a smooth and silky finish.
