Tudor’s association with motorsport can be traced back to 1953, when a motorcycle endurance racer who travelled 1,609km sported the brand’s watch with an automatic movement. Half a century later, the manufacture continues to brace for speed on the track with the launch of the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25 during the 2025 Miami Grand Prix early this month.
This iteration, however, is not just another new drop dressed in a different colourway or size. Its 42mm case, with an integrated tachymeter bezel and end links are rendered in high-performance yet lightweight carbon fibre. To commemorate Tudor’s continuing collaboration with Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One, its domed “racing white” dial is an ode to the team’s car, with contrasting carbon fibre circular sub-counters. The Snowflake hands, outlined in black, are coated with luminescent Super-LumiNova for maximum legibility. Meanwhile, the crown, pushers and caseback — embossed with an individual number and illustration of the car — are crafted from titanium with a black PVD finish.

Limited to 2,025 units, the timepiece is powered by the MT5813 chronograph calibre, which boasts a 70-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring, developed to enhance the hour, minute, second, chronograph and date functions.
