It is said that abundance in the new year portends great wealth and fortune to follow. Acting on this belief, the illustrious House of Martell has unveiled an exquisite lineup of gift sets and limited-edition packs themed for the season, guaranteed to usher in the Year of the Snake with bountiful auspiciousness.
The unique new creations begin with the latest instalment of the highly anticipated L’Or de Jean Martell Zodiac series, the Assemblage du Serpent. The elegant ichor is crafted more than 1,400 eaux-de-vie by the maison’s cellar master Christophe Valtaud. Opening sips excite with notes of citrus and spice, transforming slowly into tobacco, alongside jammy blackcurrants and candied fruit. Following the silky smooth palate is a patient yet bright woody finish. Encasing the precious fluid is a sumptuous, drop-like crystal decanter upheld by intertwining golden pedestal engraved with scales (that also appear on the scarlet case), while an intricate red crystal stopper is modelled after the wise creature’s head. The 19-carat gold-covered neck is inscribed with the edition number — one of a very rare 500.

The maison also commemorates its 130-year presence in Malaysia with its Cordon Bleu x Ivan Lam Limited Edition. Each of the 130 bottles produced bears vibrant illustrations by the renowned local creator, blending iconic regional symbols like the hibiscus with French motifs and Martell’s signature Swift in the spirit of cultural harmony.

The cognac house also worked with Chinese artist Wu Jian’an, who has crafted bold, colourful patterns featuring grapevines and festive lanterns, to adorn the Cordon Bleu and Noblige Limited Editions, as well as the Cordon Bleu Giftset, including a fine decanter. The 2025 XO and VSOP gift packagings are dressed in celebratory gold and brilliant red-blue designs respectively.
