The all-new, 'high-sided' Rolls-Royce Cullinan

A car that redefines luxury travel.

Imagine a vehicle that can take you everywhere effortlessly — from searing deserts to freezing snow, from grassy highlands to towering canyons. Three years after announcing its plans to create a car that would redefine luxury travel, Rolls-Royce has announced its name.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the brand’s all-new high-bodied model. It is the second Rolls-Royce to sit atop the company’s recently announced all-new proprietary aluminium spaceframe “Architecture of Luxury”.

“Cullinan is a motor car of such clarity of purpose, such flawless quality and preciousness, and such presence that it recalibrates the scale and possibility of true luxury,” says Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös.

The vehicle takes its name from the Cullinan Diamond, the world’s largest flawless diamond mined in South Africa in 1905 and named after mine owner Sir Thomas Cullinan.

“We were inspired by the epic processes, over many millennia, that went into the creation of the Cullinan Diamond,” Müller-Ötvös adds. Like the gem, the car promises endurance, solidity and rarity. It also combines the spirit of motoring pioneer Charles Rolls and the engineering innovation of Henry Royce.
