First-ever fully electric BMW Gran Coupé now available for pre-booking in Malaysia

The first-ever fully electric Gran Coupé from BMW is now available for pre-booking in Malaysia. The BMW i4 eDrive40 M Sport was unveiled at the NEXTGen Malaysia in January this year.

Hans de Visser, managing director of BMW Group Malaysia, says, “The first-ever BMW i4 eDrive40 M Sport retains the hallmark design characteristics of a contemporary four-door BMW Gran Coupé while also exemplifying the exceptional sporting prowess and efficiency that the fifth-generation BMW eDrive is capable of delivering.”

This smooth ride has a classic rear-wheel drive layout, and it brings together the best of performance and comfort. It is miraculously sustainable, enabling users to have long carbon neutral journeys without an issue. Compatible with a regular home power socket, a BMW i Wallbox or DC fast charger, the combined charging unit has a built-in 4kW voltage charger. With a maximum output of 250kW/340hp and a peak torque of 430Nm, the BMW i4 eDrive40 M Sport has a century sprint time of an impressive 5.7 seconds.

The car brings together the best of performance and comfort

As it is equipped with the M Sport package, the BMW i4 eDrive40 has the M Aerodynamics exterior. It also features the BMW Laserlights with automatic high-beam control, 19in M Aerodynamic wheels and M Sport brakes. This fully electric Gran Coupé’s retail price is RM389,800.
