The last two weeks saw an outpouring of support, be it medical equipment or monetary aid, from private firms and local NGOs to combat the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

Local carmaker Proton Holdings Bhd is also doing their part, delivering 50 units of its X70 SUV to the Ministry of Health (MOH) recently to ferry medical workers to and from work.

They are also deployed to hotspots in the country in need of urgent attention. Proton is just one of the many Malaysian companies that are aiding the government in the battle against the pandemic that has claimed 37,864 deaths worldwide at the time of writing.
