Chanel recently unveiled its latest high jewellery collection in Kyoto, Japan. For centuries, the ancient capital has been a bastion of master craftsmen and artisans, many of whom created treasures for the imperial family across generations.
It is this same spirit that draws the French luxury house here. In pursuit of the finest and most beautiful creations, Chanel’s own artisans have crafted over a 100 pieces for the 2025 Reach for the Stars collection.
The tripartite selection is anchored by three elements that deeply resonated with maison founder Gabrielle Chanel: the Comet, the Lion and Wings. From the Dreams Come True necklace, which evokes a star-filled sky, to Embrace Your Destiny, a striking diamond-laden piece featuring two winged lion profiles, these creations are not for the shy or retiring — but for those who embody the spirit of Mademoiselle herself.
Eight Asian stars gathered in Kyoto for the grand occasion, including brand ambassador Kim Go-eun, and friends of the brand Hannah Quinlivan as well as Fala Chen. Take a look at what they wore at the exclusive event.

A Chanel aphorism, she famously quoted “If you were born without wings, do nothing to prevent them growing”. The wing motif is a mainstay of the Wild At Heart necklace and ring.

A symbol of power and elegance, Leo was Gabrielle Chanel’s astrological star sign and, coincidentally, Quinlivan’s too.

Chen’s ring positively shines with an 8.23cts cushion cut sapphire, which evokes the evening sky.

The Dazzling Star suite is adorned with a motif believed by Chanel to be “eternally modern”.
