American luxury label Michael Kors recently opened a new store in Suria KLCC, the city’s most iconic shopping centre. “Kuala Lumpur is a great fashion city — it’s fast, it’s international and it’s glamorous,” Kors said. “I’m thrilled to be opening a beautiful new store that offers our a the full world of Michael Kors, including our exciting and fast-growing menswear line.”
The 2,765 sq ft store extends across two storeys, and carries Michael Kors’ entire range. The ground floor is home to a curated assortment of accessories, including handbags and small leather goods, along with footwear, watches, jewellery, eyewear and a selection of the brand’s fragrances. On the upper floor, find the brand’s ready-to-wear range and the men’s section, which includes accessories, ready-to-wear, outerwear, bags and small leather goods.
The design of the new Suria KLCC store represents an evolution of Michael Kors’ signature aesthetic. Mirroring the brand’s Regent Street flagship in London, the interior features displays of brushed and polished stainless steel and a rich spectrum of finishes evoking dark oak wood, Venetian plaster and Calacatta marble. A palette of soft browns and greys, mixed with warm woods, textural finishes and luxe materials, reflects the label’s refined take on glamour while providing a modern and inviting ambience in which customers can browse, shop and enjoy the brand’s exceptional personal styling and service.
