Swiss watch company Omega has applied its reputation for excellence and iconic craftsmanship in watchmaking to a new product category — sunglasses, in partnership with Italian eyewear company Marcolin. Omega’s sunglasses are notable for their premium materials and handcrafted attention to detail, delivering a seamless extension of its watchmaking universe and transposing signature watch features into each pair.

The women’s range is inspired by the legendary Constellation line, borrowing familiar details such as the claws that traditionally grip around the sides of the case, as well as the watch’s circular bezel, represented in the sunglasses by sleek metal rings in the temples. Pick from a soft pilot metal shape with a double bridge, a cat-eye acetate frame embellished with metal profiles on the front and a square-shaped acetate frame.

Engineering and innovation endow the men’s collection

Engineering and innovation endow the men’s collection, which is enhanced with unique details such as aluminium inserts, contrasting colours and milled-effect temples. Combining comfort with strength and high performance, while making the ultimate connection between Omega eyewear and wristwear, the collection features three new shapes — a rectangular geometric design with a lightweight metal structure, a classically inspired panto design and a pilot design with aluminium frame, double bridge and clean-cut lines.

Priced from RM2,280, the sunglasses are available at Omega boutiques nationwide.
