Van Cleef & Arpels' exclusive Perlée Couleurs collection expands to regular wear

The instantly recognisable rounded golden bead motif can be found in haute couture timepieces too.

Many are perhaps more familiar with the four-leaf Alhambra clover motif by Van Cleef & Arpels. However, true lovers of the French jeweller adore a slightly more niche collection — Perlée Couleurs. Characterised by metallic beading, this line that is all about the fine details has just been expanded with new styles for regular wear, as well as haute couture timepieces.

Fashioned from yellow gold, a necklace, bracelet and ring showcase turquoise cabochons as their focus stones, which have long enjoyed a reputation as one of the maison’s heritage materials. The bracelet and ring also come set with brilliant diamonds. Tiny beads outline the gems, accentuating the curves of the pieces.

Perlée Toi & Moi secret watch

Two Toi & Moi Secret jewellery watches with Swiss quartz movements have been added. Inspired by “you and me” bijouterie (where two stones are set romantically together to symbolise coming together as one), these timepieces depict two motifs in different sizes and material meeting at the ends of an open bangle design. The mother-of-pearl watch faces, bordered by beading and diamonds, are hidden behind the larger gems. Available in blue quartz and chrysoprase as well as rose quartz and green jasper iterations, these dazzling releases refresh the Perlée look with contemporary sensibilities.
