Victoire de Castellane further explores jewelled braiding in the Galons Dior collection

This is also the first time unisex pieces have been designed in a Dior high jewellery collection.

Dior’s artistic director Victoire de Castellane has written a new chapter in the history of the maison’s high jewellery segment with the Galons Dior collection, celebrating the world of couture and the inventive passion of Christian Dior. Composed of 81 original pieces, this haute joaillerie line reinterprets galons — sumptuous, decorative ribbons and the way their delicate scrolls evoke the art of detail so dear to the brand.

Drawing inspiration from the trimmings that featured in her previous collections of jewellery, Castellane transposed their finesse and couture spirit into each of the new pieces. Thus, ribbons studded with precious stones intersect, intertwine and twirl as if dancing. They are subtly asymmetrical, at once untamed and harmonious, like pieces of light, floaty fabric.

Bold and bright tones are complemented by beautiful centre stones meticulously selected in house

Spontaneous, bold motifs enhance necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings, illuminated by the brilliance of diamonds and the vibrant hues of sapphires, rubies or emeralds, cut into a multitude of geometric shapes. And for the first time in an haute joaillerie collection, there are also brooches and cufflinks for men.
