The Mediterranean looks set for a sizzling summer as temperatures steadily climb and the vacation hordes descend for weeks of seaside escapades and poolside lounging. As hotels across Europe open their doors for the holiday season, The Standard, Ibiza, brings a stylish yet distinctly British touch, attributed to its recent collaboration with fashion house Burberry.
Taking over the boutique hotel’s seasonal rooftop bar and restaurant, the brand’s signature check pattern has been given a fresh look to commemorate this occasion. Now in the shade of The Standard’s iconic yellow resort colour, the custom design adorns parasols, lounges and pillows. Visitors taking a dip in the open air swimming pool may notice the brand name at the bottom in vivid yellow.

As the sun sets on the horizon, guests can kick back and relax on Burberry-branded cushions while gazing out over Old Town, or get grooving with weekly curated cocktail evenings while guest DJs spin tunes from a specially built booth. If the warmth of summer nights is not to your liking, nip back to the lobby to capture memories in the decorated photo booth instead.
