The Omega boutique at The Exchange TRX opened recently amid much fanfare as throngs gathered to catch a glimpse of the celebrities in attendance. Martin Issing, vice-president of Omega Malaysia, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Trevor Hill, general manager of The Exchange TRX, and special guests Marion Caunter and Jirayu Tangsrisuk (also known as James Jirayu).

Caunter, a celebrated style icon and the latest addition to the Omega family, holds significant influence on Malaysia’s social media platforms. Thai actor and singer James Jirayu made history in 2023 as the first male Friend of Omega in Thailand. Renowned for his roles in notable films and television dramas, including Suphapburut Juthathep (2013), Krong Kam (Repercussion) (2019), and most recently Matalada (To the Moon and Back), Jirayu’s performances have consistently captivated audiences in the region.

Situated at Kuala Lumpur’s latest and most vibrant lifestyle destination, the boutique is poised to become a luxury landmark for both local fans of the brand and international visitors. Beyond its opulent gold-accented façade, an elegant chandelier takes centre stage and illuminates the exquisite timepieces, showcased in all their splendour. An exceptional feature of the new boutique is its exclusive customer lounge, a first for Omega in Malaysia. This private space offers clients an intimate setting to explore the collections and receive personalised consultations and services.

“This new boutique truly showcases the legacy and elegance of Omega,” said Issing. “I am thrilled to officially open it and look forward to welcoming guests from Malaysia and all over the world.”
