Hublot has always been known to embrace a diverse cast of personalities as its brand ambassadors. So it’s no surprise that the multitalented Joe Flizzow – producer-songwriter, entrepreneur, and one of Asia’s leading hip-hop stars – has been chosen as Malaysia’s first Hublot Friend of The Brand.

Flizzow has always assumed an outgoing personality, and his fierce passion for watches and music are aligned with Hublot’s philosophy of being First. Different. Unique. It makes perfect sense that the Malaysian rapper, having released his ground-breaking album Havoc and won multiple prestigious music awards locally, was tapped by the luxury Swiss watchmaker as the first Malaysian brand ambassador.

“Hublot is a brand that I carry in my heart. I am proud to represent our unique shared values to the world. Last October, I had the pleasure to develop a friendship with the Hublot team during ‘The Art of Fusion’ event in KL where I performed for the guests. It is truly an honour to be invited to join the family with such an impressive roster of acting and sporting greats, and I am looking forward to this new role,” says the homegrown rapper, who also founded one of the biggest independent Asian music record labels, Kartel Records.

Flizzow joins the brand’s portfolio of international friends including Turkish actor Kerem Bürsin, American football player Eli Manning, and the Romanian World Number 1 tennis player Simona Halep, among others.

Check out the behind-the-scenes video of his newly minted role with Hublot, which also serves as the Official FIFA Watch and the Official FIFA Timekeeper of the 2018 World Cup this year.
