Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer recently celebrated the launch of its boutique in 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya, touted as the world’s seventh largest shopping mall.
The brand’s third boutique in Malaysia also premieres its new global design concept, which underscores four areas of expression: sport, lifestyle, art and heritage.
Ensconced in an eye-catching orthogonal outlet — a nod to the TAG Heuer triangular shield — the contemporary façade welcomes fans and watch aficionados into the 300 sq ft boutique. Featuring clean, taut and strong lines, the stylish interior conceptualises the brand’s performance, innovation and avant-garde spirit as well as its “Don’t Crack Under Pressure” message.
Encased within the walls are displays that show off the Swiss watchmaker’s extensive range of novelties, including the new TAG Heuer Carrera Lady and special editions, alongside the brand’s much-loved heritage pieces.
Given special attention at the launch was TAG Heuer’s Monaco model, in celebration of the iconic timepiece’s 50th anniversary. It was also announced that five limited editions of the timepiece will be successively revealed throughout the year, inspired by the decades from 1969 to 2019.
