Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants is finally returning to its pre-pandemic in-person awards events in Singapore. In collaboration with host destination partner Singapore Tourism Board, the events wil mark the 10th anniversary of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, which debuted in the Lion City in 2013.

Chefs, restaurateurs, media and gastronomes will gather on March 28 for the pinnacle of the year’s culinary calendar to celebrate the richness and diversity of Asian cuisines.

Highlights for the programme in Singapore will include the first Asia-based version of 50 Best Signature Sessions, a series of collaborative dining events — featuring chefs from across the globe teaming up with local talent — that are open to the public. Meanwhile, the traditional Chefs’ Feast will showcase the finest produce and cooking from the region.

The awards evening on March 28 will feature red-carpet arrivals and interviews, a cocktail reception and, of course, the ceremony and countdown itself. For those unable to be in Singapore, the reveal of the 2023 ranking will be live-streamed via Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants’ Facebook page and YouTube channel.

As part of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants programme, a series of special awards will be announced before the official ceremony, including Asia’s Best Female Chef, the Icon for Asia and American Express One To Watch.

As part of its mission to promote emerging talent and recognise the region’s diverse cuisines, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants will once again announce the list of restaurants ranked from 51 to 100 before the awards ceremony to broaden the spotlight and celebrate even more restaurants in the region.
