Trust French jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels to celebrate seasonal product launches with a delightful experience like no other. The collection of focus? The hallowed Perlée collection, to which the maison recently added a new Couleurs suite featuring turquoise and diamonds, as well as Toi et Moi hidden watches. To introduce the public to the 2025 novelties and the wider Perlée line, the brand has held a series of pop-ups across Southeast Asia. Starting at Ion Orchard in Singapore before moving to Siam Paragon in Bangkok, the exhibition has touched down at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur — its third and final stop.

Occupying the Level 2 Centre Court until Aug 24, the set-up was imagined in collaboration with French artist Arthur Hoffner, a friend of the brand since 2019. Weaving in his signature pastels and sculptural, industrial style, the creator interprets the collection’s codes in a vibrant and playful landscape peppered with dynamic structures and immersive physical or digital experiences. Golden beads adorn installations like the central Ferris Wheel, Hourglass and Fountain. Interactive games like Balance Maze, OXO (or tic-tac-toe, if you prefer) and Connect 4 hone in on the maison’s playful spirit. After exploring the grounds, guests are welcome to savour a sweet treat at the gelato café.

All around, Perlée finery glitter behind glass display cases. Roam around and spot the signature creations showcasing mirror-polished surfaces fringed by beads and brand name inscriptions, the Clovers line that adopts the iconic Alhambra motif, the Couleurs pieces that exemplify the brand’s passion for colour and fine gemstones, and timepieces with exceptional guilloché dials. Alongside the contemporary creations are a selection of patrimony designs, including the 1997 Tartlette earrings, a 1989 watch with a strap of cultured pearls as well as the 1996 bunny Jeannot clip and 1999 butterfly Crépuscule clip.
