Emirates has long been synonymous with luxury in the skies, and its award-winning Premium Economy class redefines what middle-tier travel looks like. Introduced in 2022, this distinctive cabin is now available on flights to more than 60 cities worldwide, denoting the airline as the only one in the region to offer such an option.
Those flying from Kuala Lumpur to dreamy Dubai can experience this offering on the airline's newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircrafts. With only 24 seats per cabin, Premium Economy offers travellers additional comfort and privacy, complemented by some enhancements.
The experience begins with an exquisite space: cream leather seats with stitched detailing, polished wood accents and a clean champagne-toned cabin environment. Thoughtfully engineered seats provide six-way adjustable headrests, calf and leg rests and generous recline, while large pillows decorated with ghaf tree motifs add an extra plush feel. Tech-savvy touches include Bluetooth headphone pairing and dual USB ports. Those on the new Airbus A350 can track their flight progress on the 13.3in 4K HDR touchscreens, or catch up with projects with the help of 60w USB-C laptop charging.

Dining, too, receives an upgrade. Regionally inspired gourmet menus are served in generous portions on Royal Doulton fine china, paired with a rotating selection of main courses updated monthly by the airline’s master chefs. Complete your meal with a drink from the selection of wines available on board, including a Chandon Brut Vintage from 2012.
Tuck into breakfast, lunch or dinner atop spacious woodgrain dining tables that fold away neatly into the seat when not in use. Families will appreciate priority children’s meals served on colourful trays, while travellers celebrating milestones can pre-order a surprise complete with cakes and beverages for an extra touch of enjoyment.
Sustainability is subtly woven into the experience through soft blankets crafted from recycled plastic bottles as well as eco-conscious amenity kits made with kraft paper, soy-based ink and rPET fabrics.
