Mix Bill
Kenny Shim & Collective and Möbius Dance UK collaborates to present four completely different contemporary dance performances at DPAC. Möbius Dance UK is producing Time Moves Slow, a dance seen through four struggling perspectives by Jamaal Burkmar, and Dramatis Personae, a dance of contrasting personalities by Douglas Thorpe. Kenny Shim & Collective will feature Shades of Shadow, a thought-provoking dance inspired by Alain de Botton’s acclaimed book The Course of Love. And the fourth piece is a collaboration between the Malaysian and British dancers choreographed by Gianluca Vincentini and Kenny Shim.

Retro Rahman 2.0 — Relive the Magic
After a sold-out show last year, Mojo Projects presents Retro Rahman 2.0, a tribute concert to maestro A R Rahman. An acclaimed composer and performer, Rahman is the first Asian to win two Oscars within the same year, including Best Original Song, Jai Ho, for Slumdog Millionaire. This year’s line-up features musical veterans such as Mano, Srinivas, Sadhana Sargam, Harini and Sathyaprakash Dharmar. They will captivate Rahmaniacs and music lovers alike throughout the night.

Set in Motion
This group exhibition remarks the oeuvre of 10 emerging artists — Anasuha Suhairi, Azizul Nasir, Dhia Afiq Hamran, Hafizuddin Mat Yashim, Hamizan Yusof, Haziq Syawal,Isa Ishak, Joy Ng, Syukur Rani and Zearo — who are currently creating their individual momentum in the local art scene. The exhibition showcases each artist’s take on personal and societal issues.
